What is the MIT Climate and Energy Career Fair?

The MITEC Career Fair is aimed to promote and connect climate and energy-focused companies with MIT students of all disciplines.


When and where is the career fair? 

The MITEC Career Fair will take place on Friday, February 23rd from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM in MIT’s Building 13 Lobby (70 Vassar St., Cambridge, MA 02139).


Which students can attend career fair? 

Any students from MIT will be able to attend the career fair free of charge. This includes undergraduate, Ph.D., master's, graduate students, etc. We expect around 500 students to attend.


Are there registration fees?

Yes, the MITEC career fair has tiered registration, as indicated below.

*The resume book will only include students who opt-in when registering for the event

These fees help us cover the cost of the event and contribute to MITECs other flagship events. However, cost should not be a deterrent for your organization to attend. If you have any concerns about the cost, please reach out to us directly.


What is the registration process for companies?

Because we have limited seating for companies, we ask interested organizations to fill out this interest form as soon as possible. Spots will be assessed on a rolling basis.


How many representatives should my company bring?

We request that you do not bring more than four representatives if you are a gold tier attendee or three representatives in any other tier.

Will my company be able to conduct interviews on campus?

On-campus interviews are available for gold and silver-tier attendees. If you are interested in conducting interviews on campus, please indicate as such on the interest form.

How should my representatives travel to MIT?

Traveling to MIT is easiest by driving or utilizing public transportation.

Parking is available at (paid) first-come first serve garages around campus or 2-hour metered parking. Garage parking is typically available. See the locations for garages, here.

What time should my company arrive?

We request that you arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the career fair (10:00 AM) to allow ample time for checking in, finding your table, and setting up.

How large are the booths? What can I bring?

Booths will comprise one standard rectangular table per company (6ft x 2.5ft). We are able to print a poster for your company if you are interested. Tablecloths will be provided. We encourage you to bring swag, brochures, handouts -- anything that will be able to fit on your table, or anything that can fit directly behind/in front of your table that does not take up more than two additional feet in depth. If you are a gold-tier attendee and you require AC power, you should indicate it as such on the interest form.
