The MIT Energy Conference is one of the premier student-run energy conferences in the US, attracting over 600 attendees with keynote speakers ranging from US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz to former CEO of Duke Energy.
The MIT Energy Hackathon draws over 150 hackers to solve real-life challenges from the energy industry such as developing cheaper energy solutions, identifying oil reservoirs, and minimizing liquid discharge waste.
MIT Energy Night celebrates and showcases the best of MIT energy innovation and entrepreneurship, featuring 60+ posters and demo's from MIT research labs and energy startups, attracting a crowd of over 1,000 people.
Our 11 topical and people-based Communities host weekly seminars, panel discussions, and social events to bring students together, learn more about the energy space, and create connections with the private, public, and academic sectors.
We organize networking events here on campus in addition to company visits to connect our membership with our Sponsors.
