MIT Energy Classes

There are a wide range of energy related classes taught each semester at MIT.  Many graduate students and advanced undergraduates start their energy studies at MIT by taking "Sustainable Energy: Choosing Amongst Option" taught by Tester et. al, and "Applications of Technology in Energy and Environment" taught by Deutch and Lester. These courses provide an excellent foundation for further energy studies.

Additional Energy Class Resources

Some lecture notes and syllabi for old energy course offerings at MIT are available through the OpenCourseWare system (e.g. Sustainable Energy class notes from spring 2005). With cross registration, MIT students may also want to check out energy related courses at Harvard.

MIT Professional Education

MIT Professional Education offers many energy-related short courses taught by MIT faculty on campus each summer.
