Lecture Series: Andrew Slaughter, Senior Energy and Economics Advisor for Shell US. Location E51-145.

This will be a discussion of Shell's long-term energy scenarios. The presentation will contain a brief overview of what scenarios are and how Shell uses them for long-term strategic direction; a discussion of the energy system challenges which will condition developments over the coming decades; and a description of the two scenarios Shell has developed, Scramble and Blueprints, which play out two contrasting sets of responses to these challenges over the next 50 years from governments, regulators, energy companies, consumers and others.
