Overview

Power grid improvements are essential to enabling the next generation of alternative energy generation and energy efficiency systems.  This discussion will highlight new technologies and concepts in the electricity grid that will enable greater flow of information, micro generation, and storage.  Key questions for the discussion: who will 'own' the grid,  how will policy need to adapt to enable new grid technologies and enable businesses to make money from these innovations, and what challenges stand in the way?
