The MIT Energy Club Mentorship Program provides an opportunity for MIT Alumni in the energy industry to mentor current students who are interested in pursuing careers in this exciting and rapidly expanding field. Alumni from all sectors and job types are encouraged to volunteer to be an Energy Alumni Mentor. Recent mentors have been technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, engineers, policy-makers and executives in the energy industry. Both graduate and undergraduate students interested in having an Energy Alumni Mentor are eligible to apply for an Energy Alumni Mentor.
How it works:
Mentors and mentees are recruited and matched in the fall. Once matched, the pair is on their own to develop the mentoring relationship as they see fit. The only requirement of the program is to attend the Energy Alumni Mentoring Program Reception in February.
For more information or to sign up as a mentor or mentee, please contact Alumni Relations Chair, Meredith Cope Fisher.
